The Future of the Car Part One
If you’re a fan of science fiction then you may be disappointed to have realised that the prospect of the flying car is one that may well never come into fruition. Personal flying vehicles once seemed like a certainty, but due to the cost of manufacturing them, the potential safety hazards and the concerns with pollution and the atmosphere it quite literally never got off the ground.
So what is the future of vehicles and how will we see them being used differently in the years to come? Well the most obvious and likely change stems from that last concern regarding environmental issues, and we’re very likely to see electric cars gaining popularity in the future. This will not only be good for the atmosphere, but will also help the fuel crisis and provide an amazing investment on the part of the customer who will be free from petrol costs. Companies such as Tesla have already managed to produce and sell several models of electric cars. Currently the prices are too high and the recharging points too far between for them to catch on in a major way, but the future of the electric car is undoubtedly bright.
