Avoiding Cracks On The Windshield
There can be many reasons for why a crack appears on your windshield. Due to these various reasons, the crack may appear in various shapes, thus forming different patterns on the windshield. One of the most common reason for a crack to appear on the windshield is due to a flying piece of stone or rock from the road. This happens when you’re driving on an uneven road which is full of stones and pebbles. When you’re driving at high speeds, this causes one of those pebbles to hit your tire, fly up in the air, and hit the windshield. All this happens in the fraction of a second, and the result is that you get a crack on the glass.
In order to avoid such a situation, all you have to do is to drive carefully when going on such roads. If you drive slowly on pebble-strewn roads, there is very little chance of you having to face a crack on the glass. Just remember to drive slowly and not in a way which will cause the stones to fly in the air. By doing so, you drastically reduce the chances of getting a crack on the windshield glass.
